[ Digital Cinema ]
Digital Cinema refers to the art of producing cinematic style production through video. Some people think of this as just running a video camera at 24 frames per second to give a film style movement to the piece. While outputting at 24 fps is a part of it, it is only a small part. Cinematic production includes taping techniques used by film makers, knowledge in camera movement, panning techniques, cinematic lighting, depth of field and color production are only a few of the disciplines involved in creating a cinematic feature.
